Taiwan Business Bank promotes sustainable finance by integrating ESG concepts into digital services such as account opening, financing, and credit cards, forming the “ECO Finance Digital Financial Ecosystem.” In 2024, the bank adopted international carbon footprint verification standards, assessing emissions across the financial service lifecycle—online applications, account reviews, service delivery, and waste disposal—implementing rigorous carbon management.
a. Hokii Digital Account: Offers one-stop opening of TWD and foreign currency accounts, fully digital and paperless, enhancing convenience while supporting net-zero goals.
b. e-Loan Personal Credit: A fully automated loan platform providing efficient End-to-End service, reducing travel, cost, and paper use.
c. All Credit Card Series: New cards feature carbon footprint labels; the bank also promotes e-statements, auto payments, and online applications to cut lifecycle emissions.
By end of 2024, these three services earned “ISO 14067 Carbon Footprint Verification” and six “Product Carbon Footprint Labels”—the highest among public banks—highlighting the bank’s strong sustainability commitment.
