2023 Taiwan and Asia-Specific Sustainable Action Awards 

The United Nations published the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in 2015 and launched 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which promised actions on sustainable development by 2030. Over the past seven years, organizations around the globe have incorporated SDGs into their corporate cultures and have adopted innovative strategies to implement sustainability, making historical breakthroughs and many successful cases. In Taiwan, the Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy (TAISE) joins forces for global sustainability development. TAISE established the Taiwan Sustainability Action Awards (TSAA) in 2021 and the Asia-Pacific Sustainability Action Awards (APSAA) in 2022 to recognize organizations and individuals that have dedicated themselves advancing sustainable development and sharing our sustainable growth with the international community.

The Taiwan Sustainability Action Awards are awarded in two categories, including the Sustainability Action Award and the Youth Award for Excellence in Sustainability. The Asia-Pacific Sustainability Action Awards (APSAA) are awarded in three categories: the Sustainability Action Award, the Livable and Sustainable City Award, and the Outstanding Chief Sustainability Officer Award to recognize outstanding achievements in the SDGs.

The award ceremony will be held in conjunction with the Asia-Pacific Sustainability Action Expo and Summit, with attendance at this grand event anticipated from industries, universities, and government agencies from Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, and other Asia-Pacific countries. The ceremony is a landmark event drawing international attention. Through this international event, it is foreseeable that guests will learn about the outstanding performances and innovation of SDGs, CSR and USR from all walks of life locally and globally. Thus, the event will formulate cross-industry alliances and market development domestically and internationally, while driving the innovative energy of companies and strengthening its international competitiveness。
