Hope Foundation wins global corporate sustainability award

Hope Foundation has won in the Best Practices category at the Global Corporate Sustainable Development Awards (GCSA) for its School Hygiene project, emerging from nearly 100 international submissions.
It is the only Vietnamese organization honored at this year’s GCSA. The awards evaluated 96 entries from 11 countries and territories, including the U.S., U.K., Russia, and the UAE, and selected 15 winners in the Best Practices category.
The category recognizes initiatives that demonstrate strong, measurable, and lasting contributions to sustainability.

Launched in 2022, the project has so far built 270 sanitation facilities, providing clean water and safe hygiene conditions for more than 90,000 students and teachers in remote areas. Construction has taken place in provinces such as Son La, Dien Bien, Ha Giang, Lao Cai, Nghe An, Quang Tri, and Quang Ngai.
The project aims to complete 650 new builds and repairs by 2027, helping hundreds of thousands of people and eliminating unsafe, temporary school toilets.
Established in 2018, the GCSA Awards honor organizations advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals across environmental, social, and economic pillars. Results are announced at the Global Corporate Sustainable Development Forum (GCSF), which gathers leaders from more than 20 countries, including major Fortune 2000 companies.
Hope Foundation has received multiple previous honors, including the 16th Global CSR & ESG Awards (2024) and the 2023 Human Act Prize for its "Persistent Project." It has also earned commendations from Vietnam’s Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Education and Training, and Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs for its contributions to community development, particularly in education and support for vulnerable children.
