(2) Government agencies’ voluntary disclosure report
The reports include governmental agencies’ voluntary disclosure report (VDR), local voluntary review report (VLR), and media application and content quality. The reports are evaluated based on the completion of corporate sustainability information disclosure, levels of credibility, and communication effectiveness.
1. Outstanding Sustainability Achievement Award
Domestic and foreign government agencies, non-governmental organizations, enterprises, and academic research institutions nominate an individual to participate in the outstanding sustainability achievement award.

2. Sustainability Comprehensive Performance Award
TAISE grants the Top 10 Taiwanese Sustainable Manufacturing Companies Award, the Top 10 Taiwanese Sustainable Service Businesses Award, the Top 100 Taiwanese Sustainable Corporates Award, and the Excellent Sustainability Comprehensive Performance Award. We evaluate three aspects of comprehensive performance: environment (E), social benefit (S), corporate governance (G). In this category, there are three groups: Taiwanese companies including hospitals and government agencies, universities, and foreign companies.

3. Corporate ESG Performance Award
TAISE designs 14 awards to recognize corporates’ excellent ESG performance, such as strategies and outcomes.
The Corporate Sustainability Reports awards are classified into two groups: Sustainability report or society responsibility report and government agencies’ voluntary disclosure report.
(1) Corporates, universities, hospitals, and governmental agencies can apply for the Sustainability Report or Society Responsibility Reports. According to the ACCA Award Criteria, we evaluate applicants’ report content, which forms 65% of the measurement, and their media application and content quality, which form 35% of the measurement.

Domestic and foreign government agencies, non-governmental organizations, enterprises, and academic research institutions nominate an individual to participate in the outstanding sustainability achievement award.

2. Sustainability Comprehensive Performance Award
TAISE grants the Top 10 Taiwanese Sustainable Manufacturing Companies Award, the Top 10 Taiwanese Sustainable Service Businesses Award, the Top 100 Taiwanese Sustainable Corporates Award, and the Excellent Sustainability Comprehensive Performance Award. E-1 Climate Leadership Award
We encourage companies to participate in international initiatives, such as SBTi, CDP, TCFD, RE100 etc., that are benchmarking with pioneer positions. Results focus on conducting measurement and greenhouse gas emissions management to mitigate the impact of climate change. The concept of investment risk carries out corporate greenhouse gas information disclosure, actual reduction and adjustment actions.

E-2 Water Resource Leadership Award
We encourage corporates to set up climate change and water resource supply & demand assessment and strategies, implementing water resource management and adaption plans. With water supply security systems and facilities, disclosing water footprint and using reduction performance and promoting green economic industry.

E-3 Circular Economy Leadership Award
Corporates develop economic growth under limited natural resources, optimizing resource utilization in the supply chain, recycling, and designing an alternative business model.

Inclusive Society (S)
S-1 Human Rights Leadership Award
The Human Right Leadership Award was created with reference to international human rights standards, such as United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Covenant, and the Code of conduct of the responsible Business Alliance. The award acknowledges companies that promote human rights protections and develop a workplace-friendly environment and other measures to protect the health, safety and well-being of all employees.

S-2 Supply Chain Leadership Award
The Supply Chain Leadership Award was created with reference to the GRI standards for the requirements of sustainable supply chain management of enterprises. The aim of the award encourages the senior management of the enterprise to formulate sustainable supply chain management policies and specific goals, setting the criteria for selecting suppliers and establishing an impact evaluation mechanism.

S-3 Social Inclusion Leadership Award
The Social Inclusion Leadership Award was created based on the Social Inclusion Principles for Australia, published by Australian government. The award encourages corporates to consider social needs as core values, establish a value-sharing business model, and build a leadership model for social inclusion.

S-4 Gender Equality Leadership Award
The Gender Equality Leadership Award was created with reference to the seven actions principles of Woman’s Empowerment Principles by the United Nations Global Compact. The award encourages corporates to advocate gender equality, eliminate discrimination, promote a friendly workplace environment, and have a benchmarking and leadership position.

S-5 Workplace Wellbeing Leadership Award
The Workplace Wellbeing Leadership Award was created with reference to the GRI 403: Occupational Health and Safety. The award encourages corporates to promote a respectful, friendly, safe, and healthy working environment, and to have a benchmark and leadership position.

S-6 Aging-Friendly Leadership Award
The Aging-Friendly Leadership Award was created with reference to the WHO’s global age-friendly cities: a guide and the WEF’s global agenda council on ageing. The award encourages companies to promote age-friendly businesses and social environments and build a benchmark and leadership position.

Organizational Governance (G)
G-1 Information Security Leadership Award
The Information Security Leadership Award was created with reference to domestic and global organizations’ information security award selection index. The award encourages companies to strengthen their awareness of corporate information security, improve information security technical capabilities, and build a leadership model for information security.

G-2 Growth Through Innovation Leadership Award
The award encourages companies to demonstrate their innovation capabilities and value, achieve corporate growth and profitability goals, and build a leadership model for innovative growth.

G-3 Transparency and Integrity Leadership Award
Transparency and integrity are two dimensions to be evaluated for the Transparency and Integrity Leadership Award. The award encourages companies to implement corporate transparency in the governance procedures, demonstrate corporate operational integrity, and build a leadership model for transparency and corporate governance.

G-4 Talent Development Leadership Award
The Talent Development Leadership Award is created based on the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and Corporate Social Responsibility for Human Resources by Elaine Cohen. According to the integrated report published by SAP in 2014, talent development in companies crucially influences the companies’ revenue and profit. The award recognizes companies that commit to employee career development, create a sustainable corporate, and build a leadership model for talent development.

G-5 Creative Communication Leadership Award
The Creative Communication Leadership Award is created based on the Materiality Report in 2006 by AccountAbility and the Strategic Creative Communication by the International Association of Business Communicators. The award recognizes companies that demonstrate excellent communication abilities and establish mutually beneficial relations with stakeholders.
