Sustainable Tourism and Smart Regeneration
Amid rising global focus on sustainability, Taiwan’s national scenic areas aim to balance conservation and local growth. This project promotes "Smart National Scenic Areas" via a Tourism Integrated Management Platform and Progressive Web App (PWA), using big data for destination governance. Guided by sustainability resilience and digital innovation, it seeks to improve service quality, boost ecological conservation, and foster community prosperity. Examples include sustainable tourism at Fugang Geopark, low-carbon tourism on the Danlan Historic Trail, and the Smart Tourism Intelligence Station at the North Coast, showcasing progress in smart management, services, and marketing.
