Library in a Park, Museum in a Forest: Sustainable Smart Cultural Forestry
Taichung Green Museum of Art & Design, with its core vision of "a library in a park and an art museum in a forest," is located at the northern end of a 67-hectare central park. Through the deep integration of architecture and nature, it transforms into a cultural benchmark for sustainable urban and rural development. This project deeply connects with SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 13 (Climate Action). From its opening in December 2025 to May 2026, the number of visitors quickly exceeded 1.6 million, demonstrating its outstanding social impact. [Smart Education • SDG 4]: Creating the largest single-floor reading space and a 27-meter-high international-class exhibition hall, it implements cultural equality through the "Fusion Space" design. The introduction of RFID smart bookshelves gives the building "sensing" capabilities, constructing a digitally competitive "smart citizen living room."
