SWCNTs: An Innovative Material Powering Sustainable Energy
Building on its expertise in carbon materials, CSRC achieved a key milestone in 2025: the stabilization and pilot production of Single-Walled Carbon Nanotubes (SWCNTs). Through our innovative Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) process, we produce top-tier SWCNTs featuring high crystallinity (IG/ID > 20), high purity (Ash < 10%), and a high specific surface area (BET > 900 m²/g). These exceptional properties enable SWCNTs to act as a highly effective conductive additive, significantly boosting the energy density, cycle life, and charging efficiency of lithium-ion batteries. This directly addresses the urgent global demand for high-performance energy solutions in electric vehicles (EVs), SWCNT-enhanced batteries, and energy storage systems. This project is more than a material science breakthrough; it empowers downstream industries and accelerates the realization of SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) and SDG 13 (Climate Action). We are committed to establishing SWCNTs as a cornerstone of green technology, leading the industry toward a more efficient, low-carbon, and sustainable future.
