Smart Water Regeneration • Circular Sustainability: 5G AIoT Smart Urban Water Governance
This project centers on the Yongkang Water Resource Recovery Center and integrates 5G, AIoT, AI, and blockchain technologies to transform water management from passive response into proactive governance. Through AIoT monitoring, the system provides early warnings 30 minutes in advance to improve operational response efficiency. The project also introduces RAG-based digital knowledge systems, AI Agents and AI predictive models to strengthen knowledge transfer, shorten report processing time to one minute, and enhance water quality prediction capabilities. In addition, the project pioneers a blockchain-based data certification mechanism to ensure data reliability and supports ESG audits and carbon credit applications. The initiative achieves annual energy savings of 10% and reduces carbon emissions by 400 metric tons, while ensuring a stable daily supply of 15,500 tons of high-quality reclaimed water to the Southern Taiwan Science Park, successfully creating a new model for sustainable urban governance.
