Amway Hope Maker: Empowering Underserved Youth Through Learning and Dreams
The Amway Hope Maker Charity Foundation has long supported children and youth through senior high school with limited access to resources through three core programs: Love & Companionship Tutoring Program, Pursue Your Dreams Campaign, and the Develop Your Potential Project. These programs address needs in after-school care, learning support, development opportunities, psychological resilience, and self-exploration. They focus on stable companionship, dream realization, and psychological empowerment, filling different gaps in children’s development while also serving as an important support system for schools and teachers facing growing pressure. The project aligns with SDG 4, SDG 10, SDG 3, and SDG 17. It connects Amway Taiwan, Amway Business Owner (ABO) volunteers, nonprofit organizations, schools, teachers, professional curriculum partners, and local resources, transforming corporate philanthropy from resource investment into a long-term youth support platform. Across the three programs, the Foundation has mobilized 12,879 volunteer engagements, more than 56,936 volunteer service hours, 53,012 beneficiary engagements, and over NT$310 million (US$10 million) in donations.
