Happy Yunlin Sustainable Act: Creating Daily Happiness
Yunlin is a large agricultural county that is the first to face the impact of climate change. Meanwhile, we have entered a super-aged society. Agricultural transformation and elderly care are important issues. Since the Yunlin County Government announced the launch of SDGs in 2020, we have internally aligned the affairs of departments with SDGs, and emphasized the public to participate in the governance process to gradually reverse the disadvantages.
"Happy Yunlin Sustainable Act" is the sustainable development vision of the County Government. Through the Voluntary Local Review (VLR), Agricultural Carbon Reduction Policy, 2030 Industrial Park Planning, 2040 Yunlin Agricultural Net Zero Path, etc., it clearly provides everyone with a goal and implementation framework.
After four years of hard work, we have won many national and international awards, and its governance performance has been deeply recognized. The county and city mayor's governance satisfaction rate in Global Views Monthly reached 76.5%, ranking third in Taiwan. We will continue to move forward to make Yunlin a happy home with joy for generations.
