Socially, created the first municipal childcare center, promoted public daycare & childcare facilities, age-friendly policies, the most favorable bus price & social housing rental plans in Taiwan. Economically, built the International Convention & Exhibition Center, Taichung Green Museumbrary & Taichung Arena to create international landmarks, lay the foundation for industrial development. For the environment, pioneered "Drawing in the Wind, Greening, and Water Retention" cooling strategy, promoted AI to manage air pollution and flood prevention, formulated《Sustainable Net-Zero Autonomy Ordinance》draft, promoted Carbon Sink & Voluntary Emission Reduction. Taichung ranked 1st in Taiwan in the "Happy City Index" with the lowest rates of all criminal cases, thefts & violent crimes in six cities for 7 years. Also got A score in 2024 CDP & rated as "City with the Best Quality of Life" by《Global Views Monthly 》 & “The champion in happiness satisfaction in Taiwan & people most want to move to” by《Economic Daily News》.
