Lighting Up the Future - Everyone Creates a New Sustainable Thinking for Yunlin
The Yunlin County Environmentally Friendly Sustainable Micro Lantern Festival transformed the concept of sustainability into a dynamic form of urban art. The festival showcased a total of 23 environmentally friendly lantern sets and successfully promoted sustainable education and action through hands-on DIY experiences and digital engagement initiatives.
To foster a sustainable cycle, establish a resilient local economy, and encourage cross-sector collaboration, the event highlighted local industries and the ecological environment. It urged the public to address environmental sustainability challenges in Yunlin. Furthermore, by utilizing wind and solar power generation for self-sufficient electricity recycling, the festival served as a powerful demonstration of sustainable green energy.
Ultimately, this event integrated environmental protection, education, resource recycling, and community benefits. It aimed to establish a sustainable, replicable model for cooperation and development, embodying the spirit of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and revealing the infinite possibilities of sustainable living in Yunlin.
