Low-carbon black: A Pioneer in Transformation
CSRC drives economic growth and sustainable innovation, investing NTD 1.88 billion in R\&D in 2024. With R\&D centers in Greater China, India, and the U.S., it secured 6 new patents (totaling 62), strengthening its global carbon black leadership. In green manufacturing, Greater China developed zero-carbon plasma technology for hydrogen and nano-carbon production, while the U.S. tested recycled carbon black and renewable materials to reduce environmental impact.
Product innovation includes the patented Continext-LH™ low-carbon carbon black, which lowers rolling resistance and fuel consumption, supporting eco-friendly transportation. All carbon black products meet Germany’s AfPS non-toxic standards and passed hazardous substance tests in 2024, boosting product safety and competitiveness.
CSRC works with pyrolysis plants to reuse carbon black and oil, earning carbon footprint certification. All sites are certified, with zero safety violations, driving sustainable material leadership.
