Cooling & Adaptation: Creating a Net Zero TaipeiTaipei City has embraced the vision of becoming a "Sustainable, Inclusive Capital of Hope," placing sustainability as the top priority，and is actively taking climate action to enhance urban adaptation and resilience, ensuring the concrete implementation of various sustainable development goals. In 2023, in accordance with net-zero emission objectives, the city implemented practical policy strategies. These encompass initiatives such as urban cooling integrated with urban revitalization, transportation systems prioritizing people and catalyzing lifestyle shifts, pioneering residential and commercial energy generation and storage technologies amplifying renewable energy sources, and the establishment of secure, inclusive green public spaces. These efforts have already produced fruitful outcomes, outlined as follows: 1. Citizen Participating in Fostering Consensus on Urban Planning of Cooling & Adaptation 2. Promote Innovative and Practical Climate Actions 3. Creating a healthy, safe, low-carbon, and sustainable homeland
