Eco-carbon black helps CSRC sustainable transformation.
CSRC has always attached great importance to circular economy and reducing carbon emissions. It has long-term investment in research and development of low-carbon technology to strive for transformation, and actively develops new grades of eco-friendly carbon black. It has just launched a sustainable and regenerative recycling solution - "Ouroboros". The eco-friendly carbon black and pyrolysis oil produced by the pyrolysis of waste tires are used to recycle raw materials into the carbon black production process. Its performance is close to that of virgin carbon black, and it has been introduced into bicycle tires by major tire manufacturers. At the same time, through the professional modification technology of CSRC, the environmentally friendly recycled carbon black used in the ink and coating industry has also been favored by major electronics manufacturers. a plan to partner with SHEICO group. The partnership aims to invest in the recovered carbon black (rCB) business at the original site of CSRC's Phenix plant, jointly developing the North American market for recovered carbon black, which meets the United Nations SDG-17 global partners requirements.
