Solar PV is the focus of Taiwan's green energy policy development. CTBC has actively responded to government policies and participated in solar energy investment since 2014, leading the domestic insurance industry in investment into solar energy. After the 2016 merger with Taiwan Life, we have further invested into Star Shining Energy and Aquastar Energy as part of our long commitment to solar PV investment. Apart from expanding renewable energy, we have also focused on protecting the ecological environment to maintain biodiversity, adopting bio-friendly designs to reduce our impact on the ecological environment. We have also prioritized cultivating talent, promoting community education and industry-academia collaborations to allow sustainability concepts to take root. Taiwan Life has invested into solar PV for decades, not only supporting the development of renewable energy, but also taking on the important responsibilities of ecological protection and talent cultivation in order to create reasonable and stable profits. These efforts have allowed us to make stable long-term financial returns, diversifying our investment portfolio.
