Circular Economic: The LNG Cool Energy Utilizations
CPC provides cold discharge water to local aquaculture farmers in Yong'an free of charge, creating a high-quality habitat for grouper fish, reducing the probability of fish diseases, increasing production, and generating an annual output value of about 15 to 20 billion NTD. Through the cultivation technology demonstrated in the high-economic-value cold water aquaculture demonstration plant, CPC will further expand its application and develop diversified cold water-tolerant species for complete aquaculture. It is estimated that the aquaculture of cold water-tolerant species in 100 hectares of aquaculture ponds can achieve a production of 6,700 metric tons (approximately 4.3 billion NTD in output value), replacing 20% of the demand for imported cold-water aquatic products. Furthermore, CPC has established an experimental facility for cultivating filamentous algae, cultivating diverse algae, and developing commercial seaweed gift boxes, ice products, and noodles, providing raw materials for manufacturers, generating an annual revenue of 42 million NTD.
