Energy-from-Waste is used of mechanical sorting to achieve resource recycling and zero waste.
Yunlin County actively establishes an independent garbage treatment plan to solve the garbage problem. With "resource recycling and zero waste" as the main axis, it promotes the garbage-to-fuel strategy and builds the "Zero Waste Recycling System (ZWS)" and "Fully Mobile Garbage Mechanical Sorting and Manufacturing SRF System (MMT)", which extracts combustible waste from household garbage and converts it into "Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF)", which is sold to Formosa Petrochemical Corporation. We replace bituminous coal combustion and reduce air pollution and carbon emissions, reduce fossil fuel mining, turn garbage into gold, give waste new value, and embark on a path of independent garbage disposal that is different from other counties and cities. We will continue to work hard to promote environmentally sustainable development and circular economy in the future, to create a cleaner and more comfortable new living environment for county residents, implement the goal of "2030 Yunlin Full Recycling", and build a new model of green cities.
