Empower_Her: Women in Tech DialoguesNational Yang Ming Chiao Tung University has actively promoted the "NICHE: Women in Tech Dialogues" initiative to enhance the participation and retention of female students in STEM. This initiative includes inviting women from technology companies to return to campus and discuss career planning and work-life balance. This activity improves female students' career planning skills and helps companies understand their needs, thereby advancing gender equality SDG 5 and promoting decent work and economic growth SDG 8. Utilizing self-media platforms, the university disseminates knowledge related to women in technology and shares success stories, furthering the goal of quality education SDG 4. Moreover, the university has forged partnerships with several esteemed domestic and international technology companies, a testament to its commitment to strengthening industryacademia collaborations SDG 17 and providing robust support for women's development in STEM. Looking ahead, the university will persist in its efforts to promote women's education and activities in technology, with the ultimate aimof eradicating gender inequality and creating more opportunities and support for women in STEM.
