Judge Training Class Q&A
• What is the difference between beginner and advanced courses? Are both courses required?
The beginner course provides systematic professional CSR lectures to enhance the CSR strategic planning and report writing abilities of the company’s managers and executives; the advanced course, other than giving feedback on the judges’ 2019 assessment results, includes scoring system descriptions related to corporate sustainability performance. Due to the gradual course difficulty design, it is recommended that you take the beginner course first and then the advanced course. If you are willing to serve as a trainee judge, you must complete both courses.
• Is it necessary to read the CSR report before the course?
One week before the training, trainees are divides into groups, and assigned a report from the 2019 awards reports.

- If I have participated in the 2015, 2016 and 2017 TCSA Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards and I want to be promoted from trainee judge to judge, do I need to take the advanced course again?
If you have participated in the scoring for two years and want to be promoted/marked as participated in this year’s TCSA Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards, you must participate in the Corporate Sustainability Foresight Training Workshop or the TCSA Awards Ceremony to be able to upgrade your qualifications.
• If I miss the opportunity to participate in the Foresight Training Workshop, can I still participate in this year's sustainability awards?
If you are a trainee judge who has participated in the scoring for more than two years and have not participated in the Foresight Training Workshop, you will not be promoted to judge, but you can still participate in this year's sustainability awards scoring.
- When will this year’s online test take place?
Online tests and trials for trainee judges are scheduled to take place in June and July each year. You will receive a notification via email and text message, and it will be posted on the website.
