2025 Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards – Highlights Report
Now in its 18th year, the TAISE Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards (TCSA) attracted participation from 743 enterprises, universities, hospitals, government agencies, and NGOs. Following preliminary screening, secondary review, and final on-site presentations, the Top 10 benchmark enterprises in both the manufacturing and service sectors were selected, establishing themselves as leading exemplars of sustainability performance across Taiwan.
According to the organiser’s statistics, since its inception in 2008, TCSA has engaged a cumulative total of 1,075 participating organisations, with their combined annual operating revenues exceeding NT$38.4 trillion. This scale highlights the sustainability assessment framework’s profound and long-term influence on Taiwan’s industrial competitiveness and structural transformation.
In this year’s evaluation, Delta Electronics reclaimed the top position in the manufacturing sector, returning to the number one ranking after a decade, while Cathay Financial Holdings secured first place in the service sector for the first time. The award-winning organisations demonstrated outstanding performance across sustainability governance, environmental stewardship, and social responsibility.
The jury noted that this year’s benchmark enterprises not only embedded sustainability principles at the board-level governance structure, but also actively advanced supply-chain sustainability transformation. From carbon reduction and talent development to human rights protection and biodiversity conservation, these organisations collectively demonstrate Taiwan’s growing influence and competitiveness within the global sustainability landscape.
