The company is in line with international sustainability norms, showing a new height of transparent governance
The Award's Chief Convenor, Ambassador Eugene Chien, said that 287 companies participated in this year's Sustainability Report. The "Best Report of the Year" was awarded to China Airlines in the service sector and TSMC in the manufacturing sector, setting an example of honest governance and transparent disclosure. This year, many companies have adopted international standards and regulations such as GRI, SASB and TCFD, and have been invited to join international sustainability initiatives (e.g. CDP, RE100, EP100, etc.), showing outstanding performance and continued growth.
Ambassador Chien further commended this year's participants for their sustainability reports, which show that they value the expectations of their stakeholders, set up multiple channels of communication and feedback, actively examine sustainability issues, perform materiality analysis, planning their sustainability management strategies and long-term goals, and create shared value for society and the company. The organizers hope that through the sustainability report, the participating companies can bring their long-term sustainability performance results to more people and bring long-term profitability to the companies themselves, and continue to create new ESG values.
This year, 577 volunteer judges and 297 renowned experts and scholars, totaling 874 judges, were invited to participate in the judging process. The judging process was objective, fair, impartial, transparent, and rigorous. This year's award-winning companies will once again become the choice of investment institutions and the first choice of fresh talents in society.
