    2020 The 3rd GCSF Global Corporate Sustainability Forum  

    The Top Sustainable Corporates · Post-COVID-19 Sustainable Development Pathway  

      

    The Global Corporate Sustainability Forum is here today, gathering thousands of people to attend the ceremony.  

     

    Planned by the Alliance for Sustainable Development Goals (A‧SDGs) and implemented by the Taiwan Insititute for Sustainable Energy (TAISE), the GCSF gathers industry, government, academia, and research officers from domestic and overseas to join the largest sustainability festival in Asia-2020 The 3rd GCSF Global Corporate Sustainability Forum Opening Ceremony”. It was a two-day physical forum held on November 18 (Wednesday) in the Grand Hall of the Grand Hotel in Taipei. The GCSF invited prominent VIPs from all walks of life to attend the meeting. On the first day of the forum, President Ing-Wen Tsai, Vice President of the Executive Yuan Jong-Chin Shen, Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Jaushieh Joseph Wu, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Economic Affairs  Wen-Sheng Tseng, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Economic Affairs Chuan-Neng Lin, and Director of the Ministry of Health and Welfare Kunfu Liao attended in person and were award presenters. Furthermore, the GCSF invited Filip Grzegorzewski, the head of the European Economic and Trade Office in Taiwan and ambassadors or representatives of more than ten countries attended the ceremony to publicly praise the 13th "TCSA Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards" and the 3rd "GCSA Global Corporate Sustainability Awards" award-winning companies, organizations or individuals, with thousands of guests.  

      

    37 chairmen, 38 managers, 20 vice managers, and 12 representatives of countries attended the GCSF.  

      

    In president Ing-Wen Tsai's speech, she appreciated Taiwan corporates illustrated excellent social responsibility. Under the COVID-19 pandemic, the forum couldn’t be successful without governments and NGOs. It showed the world that Taiwan can build up sustainable development.  

      

    President Ing-Wen Tsai appreciated corporates’ efforts in sustainable development.  

      

    The chairman of the forum Dr Eugene Chien thanks for the government’s efforts in controlling the pandemic and is amazed by the ESG performance of Taiwan’s corporates.   

      

    Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the host held 3I Online Forum Events, which are "Sustainable Investment", "Innovation Driven Sustainability", and "Inclusive Sustainable Development", sharing the latest international knowledge and trends by overseas professors.
