2016 TCSA Shinning Bright Congratulate Corporates with Great Governance and Social Performance
For some corporate, sustainable development used to be just about environmental protection and wasting unnecessary money on doing it. However it is common sense for corporates nowadays that corporate will make a lot in the long run with sustainable development. Therefore corporates are now being judged by their effort on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) dimensions. The 2016 TCSA provide corporates with a chance to compete with each other on their effort on ESG dimensions, there are grand total of 173 corporates participated and all of their revenue combine 88.12% of Taiwan's 2015 annual GDP. There are four awards praising corporates performance on governance, and three awards on social dimensions.
The Awards recognizes governance are "Growth through Innovation Awards", and "Transparency and Integrity Awards". The "Growth through Innovation Awards" praise corporates with creativity and innovative value and achieve corporate growth. The "Transparency and Integrity Awards" recognize corporates manage with integrity and transparently.
The Awards praise social dimensions are "Creativity in Communication Awards" and "Social Inclusion Awards". The ""Creativity in Communication Awards" recognize corporates with excellent communication with stakeholders. The "Social Inclusion Awards" praises corporates that contribute the mot to society like charity and helping minorities. TACS hopes this awards will help create a bright future in Taiwan that corporate manage with sustainability concept.
