Tamsui Teaching Resource Sharing Platform: The Intelligent Sustainable University City Network Action Plan of Tamkang University
In response to the twelve-year compulsory education literacy-oriented curriculum, interdisciplinary and diverse curriculum development, and other educational reforms; the Tamsui Good Life USR project launched the concept of the ‘’Tamsui Teaching Resource Sharing Platform’’, hoping to integrate the resources of Tamkang University teachers with the needs of Tamsui’s various primary and secondary schools. We try to achieve it through communicating and listening, to promote interchange and establish a positive role for universities and local learning, forming a sustainable communication mechanism.
‘’Tamsui Teaching Resource Sharing Platform” is part of the USR plan which was subsidized by the ministry of education, we proposed this idea expecting to build a sustainable resource sharing mechanism. Through our efforts over the past two years, the 2022 work structure has become even more comprehensive: Our platform not only provides the functionality of matching teaching resources, but also continuously invites related teachers with professional knowledge to hold teacher empowerment workshops. Participating teachers can exchange ideas through small-scale seminars and publishing newsletters, in order to disseminate and share our relating resources and become the environmental education base of north coast.
During this period, we have fostered partnerships between teachers and field partners, while encouraging the development of research on local experiences. We have also strived to develop an operational mechanism that allows the platform to operate sustainably.
