Rally for Eco-Education on Net-Zero Emissions
In response to the impact of climate change and extremes along with the global net-zero trend, Innolux have been committed to sustainable corporate ESG development by implementing green production and supply chain to advance toward our net-zero goal. In terms of social engagement, Innolux has joined hands with the Innolux Education Foundation (“the Foundation”) for our long-term promotion of eco-protection and the importance of environmental literacy for children. As eco-education has been incorporated into the 12-year national curriculum, the Foundation created Taiwan’s only Net-Zero Carbon Emissions eco-education program in 2022 with both online and offline learning resources. The courses begin with scenario-based learning and game stages to guide students in understanding greenhouse gases, net-zero carbon emissions, and problems caused by climate change. Through the power of education, we hope to encourage students to take action in loving and caring for Mother Earth by inculcating the concept of sustainability and net-zero emissions in young schoolchildren for them to exert their influence over environmental issues as leaders of the next generation.
