Gaga Co-Prosperity: AI x HI x PI for Atayal Health and Cultural Revival
From Loneliness to Hope” is an Atayal culture-driven intergenerational health sustainability ecosystem. Grounded in the Atayal Gaga spirit, it addresses intertwined challenges in indigenous rural communities, including loneliness among older adults, emotional distress among children and adolescents, weakened family ties, cultural disruption, and shortages of rural healthcare professionals. With 32 years of rural health promotion experience, the team has recently focused on Atayal communities in Nan’ao, Yilan, integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI), Humanistic Intelligence (HI), and Place-based and Indigenous Intelligence (PI) to advance cultural, intergenerational, health, and institutional co-prosperity. Through Wish Capsules and the Wuta Message Box, older adults share life stories and Atayal wisdom while rebuilding grandparent-grandchild bonds. Mood Index tools, emotional education, positive parenting, mindful breathing, reminiscence courses, technology training, rhythm-based health promotion, light-enabled rehabilitation, and culturally safe care education strengthen resilience, family connection, sleep quality, and social support.
