Unseal Their Brilliance: Advancing Equity for Children with ADHD
According to research, the global prevalence of ADHD is approximately 8%, while the prevalence in Taiwan is about 9.02%, around 1 percentage point higher than the global average. In practical terms, this means that in a typical elementary or junior high school classroom in Taiwan, approximately two to three students may have ADHD. Radiant began investing in ADHD-related initiatives in 2018, and as of 2025, this effort has entered its eighth consecutive year. Through sustained program implementation, Radiant has worked to identify and engage children with ADHD and their families. Despite growing awareness, children with ADHD remain a group whose needs and rights are still insufficiently recognized in many social contexts. In response, Radiant has continued to assess the needs of ADHD families and develop targeted forms of support, including educational lectures, dedicated ADHD-focused activities, and scholarship programs designed specifically for children with ADHD. Through these initiatives, the Company seeks to enhance visibility and understanding of ADHD, promote greater inclusion, and contribute to a more equitable environment for neurodiverse children and their families.
