AI-Powered Cognitive Assessment and Therapy System for Dementia Care
Brainmate leverages Med-Tech grade Computer Vision and Generative AI to develop a pioneering "AI Cognitive Assessment and Therapy System," embodying a core impact driven by sustainable innovation. By transforming traditional dementia screenings into familiar daily life scenarios guided by a virtual AI Avatar, the system creates a seamless, full-cycle clinical loop from screening to intervention. This innovation not only demonstrates deep R&D capabilities aligned with SDG 9 and enhances the resilience of healthcare infrastructure, but also directly addresses SDG 3 and SDG 10. By utilizing AI to break through specialized medical labor bottlenecks, we have drastically shortened assessment waiting periods from 2–3 months to under 7 days, ensuring elders in remote or under-served areas can access precision care. Having achieved a 11.7% significant improvement in cognitive function through clinical validation at TMU-Wanfang Hospital, and successfully completing the US FDA Pre-Submission alongside receiving the "2025 National Innovation Award," Brainmate exemplifies the formidable competitiveness of Taiwan's smart healthcare as it expands into the global market with a sustainable vision.
