Yunlin Model for a Healthy and Sustainable City
(1) Background Yunlin faces challenges of insufficient and unevenly distributed medical resources. This issumited transportation makes access to medical care difficult. Although Caoling is rich in tourism resources, it lacks adequate medical support. Therefore, “integration” and “breakthrough” have become key strategies to address the challenges of rural healthcare disparities. The Yunlin County Health Bureau has designated the Caoling area as a pilot zone for integrated Healthy City development. We is particularly acute in rural and remote areas such as Caoling in Gukeng Township, where healthcare services are scarce, the population is aging, and liithin the framework of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Yunlin is exploring a distinctive pathway toward health and net-zero development.
