Lighting the Remote: Empowering Hope Across Generations
Leveraging its broad nationwide network of service centers and strong local connections, Taipower combines corporate resources with local social welfare organizations, medical and long-term care institutions, and community networks. Through the "Firefly Children’s Reading Program," the "Seeds of Hope Summer Internship Program," and the "Shining with Love Care Campaign for Solitary Elders," the company addresses three priority areas: childhood education, youth empowerment, and elderly care. By delivering long-term, stable support through diverse approaches such as after-school learning centers, reading programs, workplace experience, and daily living support, Taipower has developed a sustainable action plan with SDG 1 as its primary focus, contributing to SDG 3, SDG 4, SDG 8, and SDG 11, as well as SDG 17 through cross-sector collaboration. These social welfare projects have evolved from individual initiatives into a continuous local support system, ensuring that resources not only reach local communities but also help build a cross-generational support system for the vulnerable groups and people in need, consistently expanding Taipower's social impact.
