In 2018, Kaohsiung Municipal Siaogang Hospital integrated SDGs into its developing strategies.​

These SDGs include operational decision-making, risk management, and social care. The hospital​

has incorporated holistic health care, clinical education, and medical technology research into its​

mission, with “ESG” as the core strategy among its developing growth strategies for ensuring​

holistic health care, clinical education, and medical technology research; facilitating diverse​

partnerships; and initiating a social impact that boosts health, welfare, and educational equity.​

The hospital plans to establish an ESG office to transform its ideology of sustainability into​

concrete action related to hospital governance, environmental protection, workplace happiness,​

social care, and sustainable health care.
