Parent-Child Sustainability Action IncubatorIn 2022, Child Welfare League Foundation established the Innovation and Social Impact Center to develop services aligned with UN's "2030 Sustainable Development Goals". The "Parent-Child Sustainable Action Incubator" empowers children to care about society and take active steps to solve problems, focusing on parent-child communication, and social participation. The program includes the "Summer Sustainability Camp" and "SDGs Future Makers Program." The former is an introductory course on sustainability for children, conducted with intensive content. It introduces sustainability concepts, using project-based learning, practical activities, visits, and presentations. The latter aims to create a practice platform centered on children and deeply integrated into families. It invites children and their parents to form teams and develop practical sustainability actions for everyday problems. It provides parent-child training to develop core competencies, fostering systematic thinking, problemsolving, and execution skills. The program guides children from learning to practice, creating inclusive sustainability actions and promoting social well-being through cross-sector partnerships.
