Best Practices in Cultivating Local Community Grows the SDGs and Expand International InfluencesThe University Social Responsibility (USR) project at Nanhua University (NHU) aims to achieve “Focusing on Cultivating Local Communities to Grow the SDGs and Expand International Influences”. Our Five-Year Development Plans center around the initiatives of SDGs. NHU strengthens its connection with local communities to enhance regional urban and rural development. We implement cross-team collaborations with various departments, disciplines, and universities to reach the goals. The goals are to: 1.Continue to cultivate and support USR HUB projects 2.Gradually improve teaching practice and foster multidisciplinary talent 3.Establish partnerships and sustainably manage practice fields The proposed objectives are as follows: 1.Life Education: Establish a local education promotion mode that provides education for young generations and support for the elderly 2.Environmental Sustainability: Create a community where residents can live safely and achieve the goals of sustainable development 3.Intellectual Innovation: Empower regional industries and develop new opportunities 4.Three Acts of Goodness: Strength social innovation among teachers and students to expand international influence
