Empowering Sustainability: Creating Zero-Waste Green ExhibitionsBenQ is committed to creating zero-waste green exhibitions, firmly believing that a company's success should not come at the expense of the environment. Seeing the large amounts of single-use waste generated by global trade shows, BenQ decided to change this. Since 2021, BenQ has been actively planning and preparing for green exhibitions. In 2023, we applied for ISO 20121 sustainable event management certification at COMPUTEX, becoming the first and only group globally to receive this certification since COMPUTEX began in 1981. We also applied the principles of ISO 20121 to other group events, such as the 2023 Taiwan Healthcare+ Expo and the BenQ Education Bus. The process of obtaining ISO 20121 certification was challenging. BenQ overcame stringent audits and meticulous documentation preparation to ensure that every detail met the standards for sustainable events. BenQ hopes to replicate these green exhibition initiatives worldwide, encouraging more companies to participate and collectively reduce the negative impact of trade shows on the environment. Every effort is made for the future of the planet, and together, we witness this green commitment.
