The current national strategy for enhancing the healthcare system focuses on resilience engineering. Accordingly, WFH introduced an AI-integrated inpatient care model to cope with the key challenge of nursing manpower shortage. Essentially, it comprises skills-based differentiation of patients' care needs. We applied a computing-based technology to automatically generate the patient's care needs list and assign tasks to specific care team members. Consequently, the care and management efficiency/effectiveness are much improved, resulting in a significant reduction in paper usage. A 2023 survey showed high satisfaction rates: 97% for patients and families, 94.4% for nurses, 85.1% for nursing assistants, and 95% for managers. Additionally, 93% of nurses and 92% of nursing assistants felt that it enhanced the value of care. Patients and families reported reduced care and financial burdens and favored the long-term implementation of this care model. Furthermore, this service model led to a 14% increase in profit margin for the hospital. This program outcome aligns with SDG 3: Healthy Lives and Well-being for All, and will contribute to advancing SDG 10: Reduced Inequality.
