Smart net-zero transformation, Green economy pilot - a blueprint towards net-zero.Hon Hai has set the goal of achieving net-zero across its value chain by 2050. In 2022, Hon Hai has set eight environmental objectives and further detailed energy-saving and carbon reduction targets, distributing them among various business groups. Management of the implementation of energysavingand carbon reduction targets for each business group was conducted, and an energy-saving incentive program was established. In 2023, Hon Hai focuses on green energy investments. Through its economic influence, it drives corporate engagement in energy conservation and carbon reduction, truly realizing the principle of Sustainable Management = EPS + ESG, and promotes social impact. Hon Hai remains committed to long-term goals and continues to focus on concrete actions in green intelligence. Its actions in 2023 include: 1.Obtaining SBTi Near Term validation 2.Issuing SLBs 3.Promoting operational carbon reduction and the use of renewable energy 4.Establishing a green energy investment platform and green energy development fund 5.Obtaining LEED Gold certification for existing buildings 6.Promoting the transformation of suppliers into low-carbon suppliers.
