Home from Above: Sustainable HarvestSince 2019, Bank SinoPac has supported the “Home from Above: Sustainable Harvest” project. By 2023, over 150 petit directors have been trained, producing 29 documentaries, with over 60 counselors contributing more than 3,000 hours. Bank SinoPac integrates core competencies, values, and resources to grow with children, teachers, parents, and communities, fostering self-awareness and future aspirations. The project aligns with SinoPac’s sustainability commitment to reducing inequalities, promoting cultural and knowledge equity, and responding to SDG 4. By teaching storytelling, filming, and editing, it builds children’s social participation, self-initiative, and communication skills, bridging urban-rural educational gaps and respecting cultural diversity. Bank SinoPac hopes to let children across Taiwan record stories of their hometowns from their perspectives, giving us more reasons to return home and feel the enduring warmth and hope of this land. In 2023, Bank SinoPac’s senior management integrated this project into Bank SinoPac’s main public welfare initiatives, developing a medium- to long-term execution plan until 2027.
