CHANG GUNG MEMORIAL HOSPITAL,LINKOU

"Having children means having a future!" The national birth rate is closely related to sustainable development. Founded in 1978, Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Linkou has the highest number of births in the country. With declining birth rates, increasing rates of high-risk pregnancies, the outbreak of COVID-19, and the advent of the era of smart healthcare, maternal and infant care faces significant challenges and changes. The nursing team has pioneered the "BIRTH" care model tailored to the characteristics and needs of Taiwanese women, integrating intelligent and technological assistance to provide comprehensive, holistic maternal and infant care. Innovations include setting up Taiwan's first negative pressure delivery room, constructing a delivery room BI intelligent panel, implementing a clinical decision support system, optimizing immediate postpartum mother-infant skin contact procedures, improving the quality of pediatric hip joint care, and introducing an intelligent customer service AI voice newborn education system, all aimed at continuously safeguarding the health of mothers and infants in Taiwan!
