The original purpose of this project was to use ultrasonic nozzle atomization of electrolyzed water to improve the bacterial and mold levels in livestock and stray animal shelter environments. Experiments have shown that this innovative method can significantly reduce bacteria and mold levels by 72 times and 3.4 times, respectively. Notably, continuous spraying of electrolyzed water does not increase environmental humidity, yet it effectively eradicates microbes. Feedback from participants, including students and teachers, indicates a significant improvement in the odors associated with animals. The adoption of this method is gradually being extended to various environments, such as elementary schools, particularly those attended by immunocompromised children, and urban underground passages, to enhance overall air quality and public welfare. This initiative supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by addressing Goal 3 and Goal 6, thereby promoting sustainable health for both humans and animals. The encouraging results suggest that the broad implementation of this technology could lead to substantial health benefits across diverse environments.
