Elderly SmileWith Taiwan becoming an aged society, the elderly care demand has increased. However, resources have not caught up with it, and taking care of the elderly has become an urgent societal problem that needs to be resolved. To that end, Coretronic has been deeply committed to addressing the resource, dietary, and health needs of the elderly. Our three key Elderly Smile initiatives, namely, “Warm Delivery,” “Warm Telehealth,” and “Warm Restaurant,” have been designed to bring care to the elderly. Since 2019, we have collaborated with various social enterprises and NPOs to tackle the challenges faced by the seniors living alone, bridge the healthcare rural area gap through technology, and address the human resources shortage in welfare institutions. These efforts have not only provided physical and psychological warmth to the elderly but have helped them maintain good health and achieve the beautiful vision of aging in place. By actively responding to the SDGs Goal 1-No Poverty, Goal 2-Quality Education, Goal 3-Good Health and Well-being, Goal 8-Decent Work and Economic Growth, and Goal 17-Partnerships for the Goals, we are making a significant difference in the elderly lives.
